Carers First to enhance helpline service for carers with support from Kura
Kura, the largest independent outsourcer in the UK which specialises in providing tailored customer support solutions to businesses across a range of sectors, has teamed up with Carers First to provide support and review its helpline service to assist more carers.
Four members of the Kura management team led by Janine Hunt and including Senga Kane, Jo Green and Sam Farquharson, visited the helpline team at the Carers First office in Strood, Kent, to share key knowledge and insight.
The Carers First helpline service is a key part of the business’ support to carers. Those in the field can often struggle to access relevant support, so it’s important for resources to be accessible and efficient. Ensuring carers can reach out for information that’s tailored and supports in a way that suits them is crucial.
Alison Taylor, chief executive at Carers First, said: “We are extremely grateful to have this support from Kura. Their generosity in helping our team by providing their expert knowledge and experience will really help us enhance our service offer so we can help even more carers.”
Kura makes an unrivalled investment in its people, and its engaged, passionate team are what set its offer apart. It works with various businesses including insurance, finance, telecoms, retail, charity, utilities, and the public sector.
Brian Bannatyne, chief executive at Kura, said: “We are passionate about supporting the charity sector and investing our time and talent to help our clients better serve their customers and communities. Our experience in delivering contact centre services in this sector will help to provide valuable support to Alison and the team at Carers First.”
