Greenwood Park Primary
Kura is pleased to announce our community partnership with Greenwood Park Primary School in north Durban. With nearly 1,000 students aged 9 to 14, many of whom face economic challenges, our support aims to support young people accessing education and contributing to the future workforce.
As part of this partnership, Kura is sponsoring students, covering their annual school fees, uniforms, and shoes. Our support aims to support parents, teachers and student alike, and allowing students to fully engage in their studies without worrying about basic necessities. Kura South Africa Managing Director, Kenny Rodgers and Client Partnership Director, Janine Hunt formalised the partnership in February, with Kenny commenting:
“At Kura, we’re proud to stand alongside Greenwood Park Primary School, knowing that together, we’re making a tangible impact on our communities. Through these partnerships, we’re not just talking about change; we’re actively shaping it. By investing in education, we’re laying the foundation for stronger, more resilient neighbourhoods where every child has the chance to succeed”
Recognising the importance of technology in education, Kura is also donating PCs to enhance the school’s Technology Hub. This contribution will provide students with access to essential digital resources, helping to prepare them for success in an increasingly technology-driven world.
Through our partnership with Greenwood Park Primary School, we are committed to promoting educational equity and empowering students to reach their full potential. We look forward to working together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the students and the community as a whole.
